Why wear a mask?

I am the victim and the victims wife
So, why would I wear a mask
I am everyone, and I am no one,
and I don't care to be identified.>with anyone, or by anyone
I am hunger, and I am pain,
I am thirst, and I am rain coming down
hard in the night. I am the pretty girl
walking across the street ahead of you and
I am the ugly guy with the axe in your dreams.
there is no point in wearing masks
when we don't exist
in the way you think we do
I am here, and there, and not
even a spot on your shirt, I am fog
and thunder, and I am wild
and domestic, and free, and caged
this is me. I do not wear masks,
all the masks are me.
